We offer a one year warranty on all structural components of your yard. This includes frost heave and ground settling on any construction completed in whole by us. Considering the climate we live in, some minor movement can be expected in structural components.
Sod will be guaranteed for one year after install with irrigation. If you do not have irrigation it will be site specific. All plant material and trees will be site specific as well.
Living material such as trees and plants are subject to shock which is out of our control. We will make every effort to ensure any of your plant material has the best possible chance of thriving in your yard.
We want to offer good customer service and are quite generous with our time if any problems do occur. In many situations we will offer extended warranty on large scale items. We are prepared to stand behind our work.
We are reasonable to deal with. If there is something you would like to change during construction, we will make an effort to accommodate you. We do want you to be happy.
Please keep in mind, depending on the progression of your yard, not all things can be changed with ease.
If you have never had a tradesman at your house you may view the general cost as expensive. We are a small company and operate with very conservative profit margins.
Landscaping involves a lot of hard physical work, and a good skill set is required to complete even a basic residence. We need to have many different types of tools and equipment to complete your residence.
We view all of our staff as important and offer good pay structure to keep them. By having a consistent labor force we can offer the consumer a good product and value for the dollar.
Please keep in mind what you are having installed. If you live on a large residence and are having a custom yard installed with lots of features, it will add up. In the past we have completed a lot of our projects on a cost plus basis. This offers the customer peace of mind that they are receiving good value.
Generally quotations among reputable companies are similar. We all shop at the same places and costing is very competitive. Make sure that the competition is estimating apples to apples.
The biggest reason that pricing between companies differs is underestimation of your needs. We strive to make sure that we have anticipated the work load of your residence correctly, and price the job accordingly. If the competitor’s estimate is substantially lower, they have most likely missed something. We don’t want to approach you with additional costs because we have missed something in our quotation.
We want to earn your business and will address any other quotations you receive with you.
People underestimate the work load required to have even sod installed properly. You will most likely need to have your existing grade adjusted to accommodate new sod. Also a new layer of proper topsoil is recommended to ensure good growth. Granted you do not need to be a journeyman landscaper to lay down some grass.
Consider the costs of all the things that you will need. By the time you have your dirt and sod delivered, plus you might need a bobcat to help you, the cost will add up. Also, do you really want to spend your weekends laboring in your yard? A professional install will offer you good value if you really consider all of the aspects.
If you live in a well-established yard that you are happy with, you may not need a landscaper for the above. We don’t mind if you call our irrigation or fencing contractor directly. You can find their contact information in the Resources section.
Any structural components that we install, such as retaining walls and patios, we will guarantee against settling.
A good portion of your yard may be backfill from the construction of your house. Generally builders do not compact the perimeter of your house. If your residence has not sat for at least one year from construction, settling could be prominent. There is not a lot we can do about this.
In some situations we can provide compaction depending on the footprint of your lot. We have enough experience to asses the condition of your general grading. If we think settling will be a major concern, we will discuss this with you.
Things get busy quick, and we may have already been booked prior to your call. We will make priority for you if you have a drainage problem or something that is causing major problems at your house.
We try not to overbook to be fair to all of our customers. Please call early to get the ball rolling.
